What is a Physician Assistant?

Physician Assistants, or PA's, are degreed and certified health care professionals licensed to practice medicine with physician supervision. PA's conduct examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret x-rays, counsel on preventative health care, and assist in surgery.
